Never Wonder Land

Never Wonder Land was a devised movement piece I directed for Minnesota Fringe Festival for performance in August 2018. I'll be directing this show with 3 very talented performs playing Alice, Wendy, and the Storyteller. Through movement, visual narrative, and Stanislavki etude development, the work explored gender roles, growing up, codependency, and the imaginary worlds we create for ourselves.

"A must see for anyone struggling with love, identity, and belonging." --Chris McGrath

"This is not your standard "stick two pop culture items in a blender" Fringe show. It's simple, it's playful, it has something to say, but it doesn't rush you.

I was most impressed by how effectively the staging evokes that eerie topsy-turvy quality that is common to both stories." --Sarah Heller
